The MCX Rubberized bufferPads have received an enhanced Rev2 design! We shaved down some of the plastic base off the now VERY popular Rev1 design and turned that thickness into even MORE rubber cushion! This means that you get twice the compression of the soft rubber, twice the recoil absorption, for no added gains in total part thickness. This means this buffer/bumper does NOT short-stroke your bolt-Carrier, and makes your MCX shoot like its a whole different caliber!
During the testing phase of these pads, we noticed a very great reduction in felt recoil and minimal target shift through the optic. Drop one of these into your receiver and you will be able to place subsequent on-target shots with videogame ease.
Fully compatible with your 300-BlackOut and 5.56 chambered MCX variants.
Accepts your old-style hex head fastener as well as the newer torx pattern ones

Honestly I’m not sure how these haven’t blown up yet, heard about these buffers about a year ago and bought one for my 556 legacy mcx and loved it. Before this buffer I had about 1000 rounds through it and I’d say with the buffer I’ve got around another 1000. The performance difference is noticeable, especially for people like me who are trying to squeeze every ounce of performance out of their mcx. Personal experience I’d say it softens the felt recoil by 15-20%. For the price you really can’t argue the benefits of throwing one of these in your mcx. I just built a 300Blk legacy and it was one of the first parts I swapped for. I take reviews seriously as that is how I base some of my purchases. If you’re considering one of these, pull the trigger, I see no downsides to installing one of these. Great product

Best upgrade you can get for the MCX platform from a cost to performance perspective. I was a little skeptical, but I’ve had experience with other Mototech projects and thought I’d give it a shot.
The other reviewer was spot on with his 15-20% reduction in felt recoil assessment. It’s a very perceptible difference. I’m absolutely blown away that a part that takes five minutes to install resulted in such a dramatic improvement!
Whatever Mototech develops for the MCX, you can count me in. Very satisfied customer here.
